Edith “Edie” Ferrero & Alice Ford
Each year, the MICAH (Ministry in Community Action Honorees) Awards Dinner provides the membership of PVP the opportunity to express its appreciation for the contributions of an individual from each organization who exemplifies the words of the prophet Micah:
“He has shown you what is good; And what does the Lord want of you but to do justice and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8)
We invite Alice and Edie’s family, friends and Holy Name Parishioners to take part in this special evening, and hope that many will be able to attend. If you want to reserve a table or purchase individual tickets, please call Ann at the rectory. Tickets are $50 each or $400 for a table of ten.
Adoration is available every Tuesday in the Church from 1 – 5 pm. This is followed by the St. Jude Novena at 5:30 pm.
Please note: If Springfield has a snow day, Adoration will be cancelled.
In the event of a school cancellation for the city of Springfield, the rectory office will be closed and there will be NO ADORATION. Masses will continue as scheduled. Please use your best judgement in traveling.
The Sacrament of the Sick will be administered on Saturday, January 11th after the 4:30 pm Mass.
