Our Holy Name CCD class is helping the homeless by collecting white socks for a homeless shelter. There will be boxes at each entrance. We are asking all parishioners to bring in a pack of white socks. We will pick up the socks from December 4th – 11th. Thank you.
Holy Name Parish will host the Advent Penance Service on Tuesday, December 13th, at 5:30p.m. for Holy Name, Holy Cross and St. Paul’s Parishes. Many priests will be available for confessions in English, Spanish and Vietnamese.
On Thursday, November 24th, at 9:00a.m, we will celebrate our Annual Thanksgiving Day Mass. This has been a long standing tradition at Holy Name Parish. Parishioners are invited to bring food and wine, which will be used at their Thanksgiving Dinner to be blessed at the Mass.

Every year Holy Name Parish collects a variety of food to provide Thanksgiving Meal Baskets for those in need in our neighborhood. The Holy Name Annual Memorial Mass will take place on Wednesday, November 2nd at 5:30p.m. All are welcome, but in particular, if you have lost loved ones within the past 12 months, we encourage you to attend. Please R.S.V.P. to the Rectory at 733-5823.
We are collecting GLOVES, MITTENS, HATS AND SCARVES for families in local shelters. Collection boxes for these items will be at church entrances for the next two weekends (Oct. 22-23, and 30-31).
