Public Square Rosary Rally

Holy Name will be participating in a Nation Wide Public Square Rosary Rally sponsored by the Blue Army of Holy Name and the America Needs Fatima organization on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 9 a.m. in front of the church on Dickinson Street. It is the Saturday before Columbus Day and 3 days before the Sixth Apparition of Our Blessed Mother at Fatima in 1917. This event will follow the rules for Social Distancing and Wearing Masks. All are welcome as long as there are fewer than 50 participants as required by state regulations on social gatherings. For more information please call Margaret Martin at 737-4471.

54 Day Rosary Novena

The Blue Army of Holy Name invites everyone to say the Patriotic rosary from September 11 to November 3 for our country. Doing 54 days, you don’t have to say the luminous mysteries. Day one you say the joyful mysteries, day two, the sorrowful mysteries, day three, the glorious mysteries; then repeat the pattern again for 27 days in petition and 27 days in Thanksgiving. You can add your own intentions as well, and we will pray for each other.  Also, Father Dave will lead the patriotic rosary on September 15 at 4:30 during Adoration.  For complete information, please visit http://www.patrioticrosary.com/patriotic-rosary.html. If you want to participate but prefer to do the regular rosary instead, that is also welcomed.

National Day of Prayer – October 7th

Holy Name will be participating in The National Day of Prayer for Our Nation – a “Mini Pilgrimage” – as we beg Mary for her protection and guidance for our Country and the Church in these difficult times!   We will be part of the Rosary Coast to Coast Rally” on Sunday, October 7th, at 4:00p.m. for the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, along with parishes across the country participating in this National Day of Prayer.  At that time the Rosary will be said outdoors, (weather permitting).  Participants will gather on the grassy area next to the Social Center. If you would like more information on the country-wide Rosary Coast to Coast, please visit rosarycoasttocoast.com.

In addition, on Saturday, October 13th, a Rosary and Rally sponsored by the Blue Army will take place right after the 8:15a.m. Mass.  This, too, will be outdoors, weather permitting.  Everyone is welcomed to both events!

Traveling Rosary Ministry

During the month of the Holy Rosary, on Saturday May 5th and Sunday May 6th, the Traveling Rosary Ministry will be visiting our parish in promoting the Holy Rosary. Their rosaries are “Life Time Guaranteed against breakage”, as well as “hand and machine washable”.  They will display over 40 different Devotional Rosaries consisting of Marian, Saints and Other Special Rosaries.  Their Prayer Cards will be available in Spanish and English. A contribution will be made to our parish.  Please support their Rosary Ministry in spreading the Promises made by our Lady of Fatima to all who recites this powerful devotion.  You can visit their website at www.travelingrosaries-ma.com.
