All high school age young men are invited on Friday, 2/7 to Mass at Holy Name Church in Springfield followed by pizza, fellowship, and a talk on how to grow in your spiritual life. St. Michael’s Academy Open House

You are invited to an Open House/Information Session on Sunday, January 26th at noon in the academy’s gymnasium. Join us and learn why more parents are choosing St. Michael’s Academy for their child’s education! It’s an investment that will pay dividends for the rest of your child’s life! On Jan. 29, 2020, St. Michael’s Academy will be participating in Many Gifts, One Nation: A Day of Giving to Catholic Schools, a national campaign focused on giving back to your local Catholic schools. This event is being sponsored by NCEA and FACTS Management. During this 24 hour period, you will have the opportunity to support St. Michael’s Academy online by making a gift by visiting our specially designed web page that day.

In addition, we are VERY excited to announce we have a $3,000 MATCHING CHALLENGE DONOR. Once we reach $3,000 in gifts, that amount will be matched by our generous benefactor!!

Each year, the MICAH (Ministry in Community Action Honorees) Awards Dinner provides the membership of PVP the opportunity to express its appreciation for the contributions of an individual from each organization who exemplifies the words of the prophet Micah:

“He has shown you what is good; And what does the Lord want of you but to do justice and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8)

We invite Alice and Edie’s family, friends and Holy Name Parishioners to take part in this special evening, and hope that many will be able to attend. If you want to reserve a table or purchase individual tickets, please call Ann at the rectory. Tickets are $50 each or $400 for a table of ten.

Adoration Every Tuesday

Adoration is available every Tuesday in the Church from 1 - 5 pm. This is followed by the St. Jude Novena at 5:30 pm.

Please note: If Springfield has a snow day, Adoration will be cancelled.

Snow Policy

In the event of a school cancellation for the city of Springfield, the rectory office will be closed and there will be NO ADORATION. Masses will continue as scheduled. Please use your best judgement in traveling.
