The Holy Name Women's Group was formed to provide the women of Holy Name with a way to foster spirituality, community, fellowship and service and to grow in our Catholic faith. Past events: Popcorn & Lenten Movie (March), Rosary in the Garden (May), An Afternoon of Reflection with Maureen Deegan - Miraculous healing of St. Faustina. Rays of Hope Walk for Breast Cancer (October), Advent Reflection and Wreath-Making (November), Christmas Cookie Swap (December) Yearly Fundraising Events: (Flowers, Hot Dogs, Car Wash Coupons) Monthly Meeting Schedule: Planning and information meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at the Rectory. Events are planned at that time. Events may vary from year-to-year based on group suggestions and decisions. Upcoming Events: November 2002 (date to be announced) - Advent Reflection and Wreath-Making December 2002 (date to be announced) - Sharing of Christmas Traditions and Cookie-Swap Mission Statement: *The Mission of the Holy Name Women's Group is to provide a relaxing social environment for women of faith to grow together. *To represent the church as ambassadors, and to choose activities that will foster the ideals and philosophies of our church. *To be examples of involved, caring, participating members of our Holy Name congregation.
