| REGISTRATION Registration takes place throughout the entire school year, but particularly during our Catholic Schools week. In accordance with city regulations, a child entering Kindergarten must be five years of age by September 1st of the year. A child entering first grade must be six years of age as of September 1st of that year. For the admission of all new students, parents
must present the child's birth certificate, social security number, and
the appropriate immunization records. Parents are also asked to present
a copy of the child's Baptism certificate, and First Communion, if it
was administered in a parish other than Holy Name Parish. Students entering
grades l-8 will also need to present any school records from their previous
school including any testing that took place. A meeting with the principal
will take place before acceptance.
