The Community garden at the corner of Alderman & Ventura Street is in need of a volunteer to oversee this annual spring/summer effort. The plots are generous in size and available for growing vegetable or flower gardens. Gardening tools and hoses for watering are provided by the garden. Each gardener pays a small yearly fee that covers the cost of water used by the garden, and they are responsible for taking care of their individual plots.
