54 Day Rosary Novena

The Blue Army of Holy Name invites everyone to say the Patriotic rosary from September 11 to November 3 for our country. Doing 54 days, you don’t have to say the luminous mysteries. Day one you say the joyful mysteries, day two, the sorrowful mysteries, day three, the glorious mysteries; then repeat the pattern again for 27 days in petition and 27 days in Thanksgiving. You can add your own intentions as well, and we will pray for each other. Also, Father Dave will lead the patriotic rosary on September 15 at 4:30 during Adoration. For complete information, please visit https://www.patrioticrosary.com/patriotic-rosary.html. If you want to participate but prefer to do the regular rosary instead, that is also welcomed.

Interested in Weekly Prayer Zoom Meetings?

Message from Fr. Dave:

As we open up for Masses, there are things that are going to be different. There are no other activities taking place outside of Mass in Churches. Priests and Deacons are not even saying hi at the doors. I was wondering who may be interested in participating in Weekly Prayer Zoom meetings. The structure of the meeting would be roughly 30 minutes. We would go through the readings for the upcoming weekend, talk about their significance, and simply pray for each other. I would need your email address and the time you have available. Please submit your email address by calling the office or you can email me directly. 413-733-5823 or [email protected].

An Act of Spiritual Communion

An Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus,
I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You.

Amen.

Holy Name will be participating in The National Day of Prayer for Our Nation - a “Mini Pilgrimage” – as we beg Mary for her protection and guidance for our Country and the Church in these difficult times! We will be part of the Rosary Coast to Coast Rally” on Sunday, October 7th, at 4:00p.m. for the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, along with parishes across the country participating in this National Day of Prayer. At that time the Rosary will be said outdoors, (weather permitting). Participants will gather on the grassy area next to the Social Center.
